Meta is making significant strides in artificial intelligence and global connectivity. Meta AI has achieved an 80% accuracy rate in reconstructing typed sentences from brain activity using MEG and EEG technology. This research, conducted in collaboration with the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language, uses AI to decode brain signals captured as participants typed. The system shows potential for advancing our understanding of language processing in the brain.

Meta is also expanding its global infrastructure with Project Waterworth, a massive subsea cable endeavor. This project involves laying over 50,000 km of cable to connect the U.S., India, Brazil, South Africa, and other key regions.
