NVIDIA and SAP are joining forces to bring AI agents into the physical world, leveraging enterprise data and processes through SAP Joule. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, has voiced strong opinions against the U.S. ban on AI chip exports, calling it a "failure." He argues that restricting the spread of U.S. chips could undermine the nation's competitive advantage, as it prompts rival companies like Huawei to innovate and develop competing AI hardware. Huang stated that Nvidia's market share in China has decreased from 95% in early 2021 to 50% due to these restrictions, leading Chinese companies to seek alternatives and invest in locally produced AI technology. He believes that diffusing AI technology globally is a better strategy than attempting to stifle competition.
